Booking
can often be a thankless job, especially at the
small, independent club level. You must approach
it as a labor of love and nothing else, and your
reward, ultimately, is the satisfaction of creating
a unique experience and giving something memorable
to your community. At times it can be frustrating,
and at other times nothing but the coolest fucking
party. But rarely does it occur when something so
magical, so magnificent, and so transcendent evolves
right in front of your eyes, you have to share it.
