Blended Sky - Demo

(self released, 2003)

Here is a band that hail from France, something that does not happen very often when we speak about heavy guitar driven sounds, though the country is one of the European pioneers in the 'pop-electronica' scene, with bands like AIR and Daft Punk... The only band that was previously spoted was Low Vibes with that very good "Space Patrol demo" 'Inside' info about their name is that 'Blended' is the slang word for 'wasted' in french and sky equals the almighty alcohol (mostly used for whiskey).
The sound quality is not so good and unfortunatelly it is clear that it was a live recording in the studio, without the luxury of plenty of time and money... The feeling is right here though and thats what matters...
What you should expect from this demo is a bit of classic stoner rock with a metal touch in the guitars and in the songcraftin in general.
Rhythm section is tight, the drummer is very capable at hitting the skins, his work is really a strong card in the band's overall sond. The voice sounds reeeally stoned and at the right direction...
Thats about it, waiting for the new effort, RAWK ON frenchies and liberte toujours!
