Queens Of The Stone Age - "Go With The Flow"

(interscope records, 2003)

This is my favorite song from "Sounds For The Deaf" and also the 2nd single off it, an album that, fairly justifiable, established Queens Of The Stone Age as the pioneers of the new age of rock. Here we can find the album version of the self-titled track as well as a live version of "Hangin' Tree", from a gig in Amsterdam. Also, there is a techno/trip-hop remix of "Noone Knows" done by U.N.C.L.E. Interesting sound, although I can't get crazy about it because I will always think that something is missing (or else, "where are the f**king guitars???!" :p). The surprise in this single though lies on the video of "Go With The Flow", which is included in this CD in Quicktime format for all you rock computer freaks out there. Beautiful video, with great animation and a sexy vibe. As far as singles go, I think this is one I'll be taking out of its dusty shelf from time to time.
